How It Works

Step 1

Connect Your Account

Step 1 is to connect your Google Analytics 4 property to BigQuery, which enables Google to send hit-level data into a database. Typically we host this database in our cloud-environment, but let us know if you want to use yours!

Step 2

Wait For Processing

Typically it takes 24 hours after the initial connection. During this time we'll also be working on modeling your data into event, session, and user level tables.

Step 3

Start Querying

Hookup the database to your favorite BI tool or just start to query the data itself. Either way, all you need to do is connect to the database and you're off!

How to Connect

Once the database is live, you can use any of the following methods to connect

BI Platform

Use your favorite BI tool to connect to BigQuery. Most tools will be able to connect either via native integration or regular ODBC.

SQL Client

Use a SQL IDE to connect directly to the database via an ODBC connection

ETL Platform

Use an ETL tool to migrate data over into your data warehouse. Common tools like Fivetran make this super easy.
